Disconnected

Broken is a human, who is disconnected,
From one personality to another they are affected,
They are struck down by thoughts lamenting,
While others show that passion is in the resenting,
For to know one who truly understands themselves,
Let alone someone who can in others will delve,
Is a rarity that we can no longer afford,
One that in hindsight we know now we should of stored,
But in thoughts of the past I do digress,
Trying to escape thoughts of the present which I resist,
For broken is a human, who is disconnected,
So I hold on to only a few lives of mine I have selected.
